Hemet Schools

The Hemet Unified School District is the governing body for Hemet Schools K-12. Hemet boasts a number of schools recognized as California Distinguished Schools.

Recreation

Recreational facilities include a wide variety of parks, restaurants and shops, multiple golf courses, tennis courts, and nearby casinos. Organized recreational activities such as softball, tennis tournaments etc., are provided to the community by the Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District. Diamond Valley Lake provides water sports, fishing, camping and walking trails. The city also features a number of libraries and clubs as well as social centers that host cultural events all year round.
